Amazing...
The country can be soooooo beautiful.
From Dusk to Dawn...
and then some.
This is the little tractor,
that pulls the "Square" baler...
First you cut the hay.
This is a wind row.
(No, it's not windy~but it is in a row.)
((No, the wind did not blow it in rows.))
When the swather cuts the hay, it is placed in a row.
(((Where do they get their terms?)))
And this is the "Square" baler
that makes the "Square" bales.
(REALLY????)
I'm not kidding! This is for real!
It picks the cut hay (sorry, wind row) up,
and binds it up.
And then...
The hay haulers get to work!
(And I do mean work!)
It's a hot, sticky, scratchy, make you sneeze job!
It's not for the faint of heart.
*Sorry about the fuzzy pic, if you've ever ridden on a hay wagon you would know why it's soooooo fuzzy. It's a very rough ride!
This is another of my favorite Bolay Boys'.
Didn't he do a fantastic job of stacking?
Just hayin' around,
MFSD
*Please note: A big thank you to Handsome Man, who provided these pics.
I try to stay away from the hay~has something to do with hayfever~ and...
it's a hot, sticky, scratchy ~ Make You SNEEZE Job.
